The Glenfinnan Games is well worth visiting – although small, it takes place in a beautiful setting, rich in history (it’s where Bonnie Prince Charlie rallied his allies in 1745), unbeatable views and Harry Potter’s viaduct! Glenfinnan Games take place annually on the closest Saturday to the 19th of August.
This one is a bit different in that it takes place midweek, but it lasts all day and well into the night as it rounds off with a ceilidh! The arena is practically on the beach with the Small Isles as its backdrop. With the stunning location and the range of activities you don’t want to miss out on these Highland games.
