Lunch and snacks
If you’re looking for food on the go, there are takeaways in Fort William town centre and in Ballachulish. For a coffee, snack or something more substantial there are cafes in most villages and towns – some in fantastic locations with stunning Highland views. Many visitor centres, gift shops and galleries also serve food and great coffee. Or for a casual meal try one of the local pubs or hotel restaurants. Most serve meals at lunchtime as well as in the evenings.

Dining out
As well as tasty and affordable pub grub, Lochaber also boasts many great restaurants with excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. From award-winning seafood restaurants, Indian, Italian and Chinese to contemporary bistros – there’s plenty of choice. Many restaurants enjoy glorious loch or sea views - your meal will taste even better as you take in the stunning scenery.

Enjoy a drink
And when it comes to enjoying a drink with friends, you’ll find that even the smallest of village has a cosy pub nearby and Fort William High Street has a variety to suit everyone – from traditional, cosy pubs to lively places for the younger crowd.
