The qualifications to look for are Summer Mountain Leader (Summer ML) for summer hill walking, British Mountain Guide (BMG) or Mountaineering Instructor (MIA or MIC) for hill walking, scrambling and rock climbing. Using a qualified guide ensures you are in the hands of someone with great experience and technical skills, in-depth knowledge of this area and a passion for the hills!
