Horse Riding
Horse riding in Lochaber, Fort William is mostly on forestry roads at Glen Righ, Glengarry pine forest, Glen Loy and sections of the Great Glen Way. Fassfern estate also has lovely tracks. Older forestry roads with grassy centres are particularly good. But in forests where felling is underway, the tracks tend to be much more stony.
There are great Horse Riding holidays for both expert and novice riders. With excellent scenic rides that will help you encapsulate Scotland and the wonderfull wildlife.
Beach Rides
For a real feeling of freedom why not try a beach ride? There are plenty of opportunities at Morar and around Arisaig, near Castle Stalker in Duror and also at Kentra Bay in Ardnamurchan.
